The Margaret T. Morris Center, a dementia care facility in Prescott, had the vision to plan for beautiful outdoor spaces for their residents.
In addition to the outdoor patios, gardens were developed to include colorful raised, easily accessible beds, whimsical sculptures, water features and several specialty gardens. Old existing fruit trees were retained in this large backyard space along with a bank of riparian trees that border a creek behind the property.
Steve Morgan of Landscapes for Life LLC was part of the original design team for the gardens; Steve and Nichole Trushell also designed and built the decorative steel and glass border for a new outdoor patio security fence. This decorative border adds fun, color and reflected light to this fully accessible outdoor area for residents.
